Mommy: Cade did you eat breakfast at school today?
Cade: Yes.
Mommy: Did you have a cinnamon roll?
Cade: No. I had cereal.
Mommy: You could have had cereal at home. Today was cinnamon roll day and you wanted to eat a cinnamon roll since Mommy didn't make any. So why didn't you get a cinnamon roll?
Cade: Cuz it was skinny.
Mommy: What was skinny? The cinnamon roll?
Cade: Well it was a tiny bit fat too.
Mommy: So you couldn't get a cinnamon roll?
Cade: No cuz I don't like fat things.
Mommy: I don't understand what the problem was. If it was skinny and a tiny bit fat then it should have been perfect.
Cade: No it wasn't perfect cuz then there were only 4 minutes. Or maybe just 3 minutes. Or 5.
Mommy: 5 minutes for what?
Cade: For eating. And then I would have to take giant bites.
Mommy: Oh is there a lady there telling you that there is 5 minutes left and so you need to hurry and eat?
Cade: Well I think she said 4 minutes but she didn't say to hurry and eat.
Mommy: Ok well next time I will bake you some cinnamon rolls ok? And tomorrow there is a sausage sandwich for breakfast.
Cade: What's that again?
Mommy: It's one of those things... Actually don't worry about it. I'll make you one at home.
Cade: OK. Good night Mama.
I swear it's like pulling teeth with that kid to find out anything. I still have no clue why he didn't get the cinnamon roll. I'm guessing that it was small but still too large that he thought he wouldn't have time to eat it all.

10 Pennies
Today as Cade and I were walking home from the bus stop I asked him what he learned at school. He said he learned that 10 pennies make a diamond. Too cute. (He meant 10 pennies make a dime.)
