Father & Sons Outing

Last month daddy took you on the ward Father & Sons outing. You went up a few days earlier than the rest of the ward and Grandpa Ron and Grandma Joann met you up there and you all did some fishing. You had a great time and caught some fish too. Then you all went back to the hauler and cooked and ate the fish for dinner. Here are some pictures of the great day!

I love you at 100

Cade you are getting so smart. You love numbers! Often you measure how much you love someone with a number- it is usually 100. Today you told me that you love me at 100 and I replied by saying I love you at 200- hoping you would realize that it was more than 100. Well, you didn't get it and you said you love me "at eight and eleven". It was so funny to me so I laughed and you asked why I laughed and then said, "What, that's not a lot?". I told you it's not very much. So then you said, "Fine mom, I love you all the way at the finish line." So cute you are.

Swim Lessons, Loving Mommy

You are doing so great at swim lessons, son. You are so funny because you wake up early and get your swimmin' suit on and then come wake me up and tell me it's time to go. Well, I always have to break your heart and tell you that it isn't until 11:00. You ask me- "ok mom, should I watch 3 shows and then we can go to swim?" "Yes buddy boy, go watch a few shows." You eventually get lost in your shows and I have to rush you out the door to swim. We walk together and I always make sure that I am closest to the street. After a few days you have caught on and now tell me to get by the street. You are the cutest thing. I just lubba you! even though you love Cloee the mostest. You tell me you love Cloee 100 and you love me like a 1 and a 1 (eleven, I guess) but you think it is right up there by 100. I tell you its not much and you tell me it's ok because you love me second after Cloee. Ok son I'll take that!

Cloee, will you marry me?

Cade loves Cloee so much! He bugs her like all day long. I have to hide her from him so she can get some rest. We have rules that if she is eating or sleeping then he can't kiss and bug her, but he still breaks those rules. He just can't help it. He wants to hold her hand or touch her as he watches tv. It is the cutest thing, but gets irritating to me. As soon as I put her in the swing or in her seat he is right there bugging her. He says things like, "Cloee will you marry me?" Then he answers and says, "Yes you will because you love me and I love you." So cute. We try to tell him that you can't marry your sister and he says, "Well I love her though!" He is a very sweet brother. When he picks her up and carries her around he does pretty good. He is stable and I trust he won't drop her but she could be screaming away and he will just sing to her or talk to her. I always think that he is going to get tired of the crying and bring her to me but he never does. I finally have to take her away from him. When she cries I will ask him why she's crying and he says he doesn't know so I tell him to ask her what's wrong and so he asks her and of course she doesn't answer, she just keeps on crying. I ask him what she said and he gets kind of confused and says, "I don't know cuz she won't tell me." It cracks me up. Pretty soon he will figure me out and won't ask her because he will realize she can't and won't answer him.

One eye is tired

Tia was over tonight and it was very late- like midnight. She asked you if your eyes were getting tired and you responded by saying, "No just my one eye." So cute you are! I hope you don't grow out of your cute little sayings. You are almost 5! Oh my little boy is growing up. Ahhhh!
