Wii

Cade has been having fun this summer. We have done lots of fun things together as a family and I have taken them to do things but if we didn't then Cade could be perfectly happy staying home every day just playing the Wii. He is really good at all the games and loves when friends come over and want to play it with him.

Cleaning robot

Will and I and the kids were driving home from somewhere the other night and out of the blue Cade says, "Daddy, I wish you and me could make a robot together. We should make one that can help me clean my room." Then the next day I was telling Cade not to bother Cloee while she was sleeping because I really needed to get some cleaning done while the baby was asleep and he said, "Mom don't you wish you had a robot?" I played dumb and said, "A robot for what?" he says, "a cleaning robot." I answered by telling him I had Carlee to clean for me- just to tease her and make her mad. But YES I do wish I had a cleaning robot. Why don't you and daddy get on that? A fortune could be made on an invention like that!

Cade's Name

William Cade
When naming Cade we had a hard time. Will wanted his first boy named after him. Will is a junior and wanted his boy to be "the third". Well, I don't care so much for Will's full name (William Clifton Filippone) so I really, really, really didn't want to name my son after him. I asked him if we could use his first name and middle initial which is 'C' and he said that was fine. I came up with a few names such as Cooper, Cruse, and Cade. Will liked Cade the best but didn't ever want him to be called Cade-ee, we don't have too many problems with that, thank goodness. At the time the name Caden was very popular, but it sounded a bit too feminine for my taste. Cade sounded so much rougher and tougher. It totally fits his physique now. The only problem we have is that Cade was born on his daddy's birthday so we have William C. Filippone, Jr. and William C. Filippone both born July 22nd. Crazy huh!? Health insurance constantly gets them confused. Oh, well. What are we gonna do about it now?

Father & Sons Outing

Last month daddy took you on the ward Father & Sons outing. You went up a few days earlier than the rest of the ward and Grandpa Ron and Grandma Joann met you up there and you all did some fishing. You had a great time and caught some fish too. Then you all went back to the hauler and cooked and ate the fish for dinner. Here are some pictures of the great day!

I love you at 100

Cade you are getting so smart. You love numbers! Often you measure how much you love someone with a number- it is usually 100. Today you told me that you love me at 100 and I replied by saying I love you at 200- hoping you would realize that it was more than 100. Well, you didn't get it and you said you love me "at eight and eleven". It was so funny to me so I laughed and you asked why I laughed and then said, "What, that's not a lot?". I told you it's not very much. So then you said, "Fine mom, I love you all the way at the finish line." So cute you are.

Swim Lessons, Loving Mommy

You are doing so great at swim lessons, son. You are so funny because you wake up early and get your swimmin' suit on and then come wake me up and tell me it's time to go. Well, I always have to break your heart and tell you that it isn't until 11:00. You ask me- "ok mom, should I watch 3 shows and then we can go to swim?" "Yes buddy boy, go watch a few shows." You eventually get lost in your shows and I have to rush you out the door to swim. We walk together and I always make sure that I am closest to the street. After a few days you have caught on and now tell me to get by the street. You are the cutest thing. I just lubba you! even though you love Cloee the mostest. You tell me you love Cloee 100 and you love me like a 1 and a 1 (eleven, I guess) but you think it is right up there by 100. I tell you its not much and you tell me it's ok because you love me second after Cloee. Ok son I'll take that!
